Harry Thibodeaux

Harry L. Thibodeaux, of River Ridge, LA, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2016. He was born on June 22, 1947 in New Orleans, LA and was 69 years old. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Thibodeaux, his sons, Chad Thibodeaux and John Thibodeaux, and daughter-in-law Victoria Thibodeaux, his grandchildren, Alissa Thibodeaux, Tia Thibodeaux, Jenna Thibodeaux, and Bella Thibodeaux. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Caroline Thibodeaux and Joanne Guillot, and brother-in-law, Leon Guillot, Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents Warren and Sophie Thibodeaux, his brother, Warren Thibodeaux, and his grand-son, Vincent Thibodeaux preceded him in death. Harry attended Redemptorist High School and was retired from American Cyanamid/Cytec Industries where he worked as an Operator. He was shrimper and fisherman at heart. Harry was a Master of the Royal Secret of the 3rd Degree of the ancient and accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry with Lodge Etoile Polaire #1 in New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 3pm – 5pm. The Catholic Service will be held at 5pm with interment to follow in Lake Lawn Park.
