Marlene, I am so very sorry for your loss.  Mr. Harold was a Great Man and I will cherish many memories I have of him.  I am honored to say I knew him as he was one of the most Respectable Human Beings!

When I say or hear the name Harold Hand , I hear words that highlight the picture of a man who lived his life to his fullest with joy, gentleness , kindness, integrity and humble authority .   I remember his strong family values and the love he always expressed to his wife Joan  and daughter Marlene.  I remember how Faithful he was , always showing his love and respect to God.  I remember His thoughtfulness of others.  I loved the way Harold would laugh , (to tears at times) while  listening to the stories my sister and I would share when some of the family got together.  Harold was always pleasant and a joy to be with. I will miss him. Harold was one of God’s expressions  of unconditional love and  kindness on the earth.  I am  grateful to have been part of his life.   With my prayers and love,

My deepest sympathy to Harold’s family and friends. More than anything I recall his friendship and recollections about my father from him.  A gentleman in the truest sense. 

So many Memories at manresa retreat house,especially meeting up there two hours before it started to pick our table and reserve. It by leaning the chairs forward like someone was sitting there with our books placed in the plates like we were reading!! Then in the morning we would meet for coffee on the front porch like Grandpa and I would do and snicker waiting each one out to see who would talk first at the silent retreat and Ronnie lampard always won 🥰 and uncle Harold would just shake his Head. Mr. Harold was a dear friend to my father,  Don Mohler.  My parents lived across the street from the Hands for years.   It was always a pleasure to see him and talk with him. Every year on our Manresa Retreat we would have him sit at the head of our table  and announce that he was our family Patriarch and he would get the biggest smile on his face. Every now and then we would see a tear in his eyes and I always believed  he must be thinking of all those members of his family that had passed the year before but one year I knew it was for his beloved Joan. They are all rejoicing in Heaven like it is St. Patrick’s Day! May he Rest In Peace and watch over his love ones left behind.
