Gus, born on September 2, 1956, was the only child of the late Gustave Francis Miltenberger, Sr. and Myrthe “Patty” Peters. He spent his formative years in New Orleans, LA and became best friends with Victor Prudhomme who would eventually introduce him to the love of his life.
He wed Constance Ann Guidroz on January 10, 1976 and they spent their married life together in Algiers.
Gus found peace in Venice, LA at his fishing camp and on long motorcycle rides. He took great joy in cooking and spending quality time with those most important to him. Gus brought laughter to his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by them.
He joins his beloved wife, Connie, in eternal rest. He is survived by his son, Gustave Francis Miltenberger III.
A visitation will be held at Lake Lawn Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 12pm until the funeral services at 2pm. Interment will follow on the grounds of Lake Lawn Cemetery.
