Gloria P. White born August 10, 1925 passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the age of 99. She was a member of NARFE and a parishioner of St. Angela Merici. Gloria loved gardening, enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren, and she loved Mardi Gras parades. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, George V. White, Jr.; parents, Joseph and Anita Peyroux; siblings, Alice Bowes, Audrey Reynolds, and Armand Peyroux. She is survived by her children, Carol Bodenheimer, Guy Sproles (Faith), George J. White; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend services on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00PM. Interment will be at All Saints Mausoleum.
