Gerald S. “Gerry” Carr, age 82, passed away on November 4, 2015 in New Orleans, La. Mr. Carr was a resident of Gretna, LA, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, the President of Weight Watchers of LA. and Southern MS., and a member of the Westbank Rotary Club. He was preceded in death by his wife Roberta R. Carr. He is survived by daughter, Heidi Carr, son Randy (Lisa) Carr, Brother Martin A. Carr, Grandchildren; Alanna (Ben) Hughes, Gregory Carr, Gabrielle Carr-Ard, Brianna Carr-Ard, great grandchildren; Ellie, Catie and Danny, and longtime family friend Linda L. Adams. Visitation will be held from 10-12noon on November 8, 2015 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, La, with a service to begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. In Lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements entrusted to Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home
