George Emile Martin

George Emile Martin, 74, entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2022. George is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Susan Davis Martin, daughters: Rachel Mary Martin and Emily Martin Fazende (Chris), grandchildren: Catherine Comardelle (Collin Copeland), Alan Comardelle II, Ryan Johnson, step grandchildren: Chris P. Fazende and Savannah Falgout (Carl), brother Charles Martin, niece: Jenny Martin Mitchell and nephew: Gene Martin. George was preceded in death by his father Emile Martin, mother Rose D. Martin and sister Lillian Martin. Born in New Orleans, George graduated from Redemptorist High School class of 1966. He retired from DXP (SEPCO) where he worked for 40 years. George loved to spend his retirement days with family, his dog Buster, and his many friends at CC’s Coffee on Metairie Road.

All are invited to attend a celebration of George’s life on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, La. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am with a Funeral Service starting at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Metairie Cemetery in All Saints Mausoleum.
