George Brewster III passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 82 in his home in Gretna, LA. He was surrounded by Janet Brewster, his loving wife of 41 years, and their family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Terry Wisler (Chuck), Lori Kerner (Tommy), and he was Paw Paw to his grandchildren Chad, Ryan, Emily, and Abbey, and his great granddaughters Kyla and Korrin. He also had numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Brewster, Jr. and Alvina Brewster. He worked as a CPA with Murphy, Whalen, & Broussard for numerous years. He always put his family first, others second, and himself last. He was truly a good, caring man. He will always be remembered for his quiet kindness, unwavering compassion, and unconditional love. A private memorial service will be held on Friday, March 19, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to JDRF.org
