Gaynell F. Gubler

Gaynell was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Evelyn and Lawrence J. Gubler, Sr. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Gubler, Kathleen Klein and husband Kenneth, brother Lawrence Gubler, Jr. and wife Janet and niece Katherine Lemons.

Upon graduation from Holy Name of Jesus High School, Gaynell attended Meadows Draughn Business College. She then worked for the Internal Revenue Service for over 40 years. Gaynell loved watching “Saints” football, having been a season ticket holder for many years. She always looked forward to going to her favorite restaurants and having her “Old Fashion” before her meal. Gaynell also loved her furry friends. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the hospice staff for the compassionate care given to her these past months.

Relative and friends are invited to attend services on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM followed by a Mass at 12:00PM. Interment will be at Lake Lawn Park.
