Gayle P. McCoy

She is survived by her best friend and beloved husband, Robert Joseph McCoy, Jr.; her son, Michael John McCoy (Terri Fletcher McCoy); daughter, Michelle Ann McCoy Sochia (Dale Patrick Sochia); grandchildren, Jonathan Robert Sochia, David Elijah Sochia (Laityn Ocmond Sochia), Levi Joseph Sochia, and Abigail Lynne Sochia; and her great-grandchild, Rylan Paul Ocmond.

Gayle is preceded in death by her parents, Marguerite Antoinette Manguno Porte and John Jules Porte; and her sister, Judith Elaine Porte Lucas.

Gayle was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She obtained her degree in elementary education from Tulane Newcomb College. Gayle was known for her kindness, generosity, selflessness, and compassion for others. Above all else, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all.
