Frank Wall Elliott passed peacefully from this life on October 13, 2014, at the age of 87. Born in Minco, Oklahoma, on February 1, 1927, he was the sixth of twelve children of the late William Christopher Elliott and Lula Lattimore Elliott. After naval service in the Pacific theater during World War II and in the Korean Conflict, he graduated from University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering. He was a business owner for 45 years in Triumph and Belle Chasse, retiring late in life to Covington.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Eleanor Pivach Elliott; sons William Christopher (Donna) and Frank Wall, Jr.; granddaughters Rebecca A. Smith (Robert) and Jennifer E. Brindler; sisters Kathleen Lambert, Mary Lee Roberts, and Faye Anderson; brother Aaron Elliott; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Holy Name of Jesus Church at 6367 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans, on Friday, October 17, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and Mass at 11:00. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
