Francesca Glynn Heavey passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband J. William Glynn, her parents, Francesca and Salvatore Amantia, two sisters, Rose Bacino and Gaetana Ovalle and 2 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her two children Mary G. Quinn and Ronald Wm. Glynn (Maria), 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, one great- great- grandchild and her sister Phillipa D’Alfonso. She loved spending time with her family and friends, dancing, and cooking for everyone was the delight of her life. She will be missed by all for her quick smile and the joy she brought to everyone she met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation beginning at 10:00 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon Thursday, November 19, 2015 in the chapel at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans. Interment will follow in St. Louis #3 Cemetery on Esplanade Ave. In lieu of flowers the family requests masses.
