Florine Paula Palmer

Florine Paula Palmer, age 91, entered into eternal rest on February 8, 2023. She was born November 12, 1931 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Florine worked as a Service Representative for South Central Bell for many years and she was a dedicated member of the Red Hat Society in Diamond, Mississippi. She loved and enjoyed Gardening, Bowling, Golf, and Traveling.

Florine is preceded in death by her beloved spouse of 59 years, Murray L. Palmer Sr., her parents; Elizabeth (Elise) Santa- Cruz and Zachary S. Paula, her sisters; Gloria Hemelt Booth and Louise Matthews.

Florine is survived by her daughter; Cynthia LeBlanc (Elton) and her son; Murray L. Palmer Jr. (Diane), her grandchildren; Wendy Schneider (Scott), Brian Le Blanc, Amanda Saba (Bryan) and Alison Byrd (Kevin), her great-grandchildren; Emily, David Jacob, Adrianna, Ava and Millie and a Host of Friends and Relatives.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 12p.m. in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, Louisiana 70124. Visitation will be held prior to the service and will begin at 10 a. m. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
