Evelyn O. Lewellen passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late John Dickson Lewellen, Southern Railroad. She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 beginning at 12:00pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, followed by a graveside at 1:00pm at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
