Erna Benson Miller a retired Assistant Manager for D.H. Holmes Hosiery Department passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at age 100. Beloved wife of the late Joseph C. Miller. Daughter of the late Colin Floyd and Lola Shows Benson. Loving mother of Joseph C. Miller (Peggy), Larry F. Miller (Pam) and Stephen C. Miller. Sister of June B. Riddle and the late J. Seay Benson, Jonnie Riley and Dama Lou McDonald. Grandmother of Lori Smalling (Daniel), Stephanie Miller and Denise Robichaux (Cory). Great grandmother of Emma Smalling. Mrs. Miller attended Copiah Lincoln Junior College and was also a member of Metairie Manor Guild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be private.
