Elizabeth Balch Dauner passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the age of 88. She was the wife of the late René Dauner. Mother of Cynthia “Cindy” Dauner and Daniel Dauner (Deborah). Grandmother of Christopher (Jill) and Evan Rider, Dia’Mond Woodman, Dakoda Dauner, Dustin Dauner and Durand Dauner (Katie) and great-grandmother of Ava, Nolan, Reese and Blake Rider. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous family members. Elizabeth was born on February 12, 1928 to her parents, Lillian Williams Balch and Robert Balch, who have since preceded her in death. She was a past President of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 12 Noon.
