Don Blake Woods

Don Blake Woods, 76, was called home by our Lord on Wednesday November 16th, his beloved wife and best friend, Becky M. Woods, at his bedside. Don was known for his gentle and kind demeanor. He showed gratitude and love with ease, especially to his children, Ashley W. Bozeman, Blake M. Woods and Ron J. Landry. He was a loving grandfather to his 5 grandchildren, M. Ella Bozeman, Mary Alston Woods, Duncan “Mac”

Woods, Justin M. Landry and Jack T. Landry, a one-of-a kind father-in-law to Travis Bozeman, III, Shelley S. Landry and Anne H. Woods and a true friend and

brother-in-law to Trinity F. Martinez, Frank C. Martinez and Simo J. Martinez. Prior to retirement, Don spent the latter part of his working career with Regions Bank, where he was a well-respected Financial Advisor and a Vice-President in the Morgan Keegan financial group.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services, held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA. 70124. Visitation from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with Mass and interment following in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Don’s honor to the charity of your choice.
