Debra Matherne Decker

Debbie enjoyed spending time with friends and family, camping in her travel trailer, and tent camping with the Baton Rouge Pathfinder Club. She spent over 35 years as a leader of the Pathfinders. She was also area coordinator for ARKLA SDA conference.

She is survived by her husband, William “Wolfe” Decker, her two daughters, Melissa Ann Decker and Jeannine Marie Decker (fiancé, Edward “Tommy” Plemons).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin J. Matherne and Mercedes Morales Matherne.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Jones Creek Seventh Day Adventist Church, on Saturday, May 22, 2021 beginning at 5:00PM.
