Deborah "Debby" Sharpe Wilde

Debby was born in Mobile, AL on December 18, 1948 to the late Stamey and Maryann Hass Sharpe. She is survived by son Jeffrey Wilde; ex-husband Earl "Jim" J. Wilde III; and siblings Richard and Linda Sharpe.

Though a long-time resident of New Orleans, LA, Debby relocated to Baton Rouge. She was employed at Beacon Behavioral Health, where she recently celebrated her twenty-fifth anniversary.

The family would like to give special thanks to Pinnacle Hospice of Baton Rouge's Medical Director Dr. Andre Bonnecaze; Administrator Kelly Tullier; Director of Nursing Amanda Rabalais, RN; Assistant Director of Nursing Tammy Reine, LPN; caregivers Kerri McIlvena, RN, Cait Parker, LPN, Drew Brandley, CNA, and Angelle Boyde, LCSW; and Chaplain Jason Dunham. As well to her physicians Dr. Douglas Say, Dr. Christopher McCanless, and Dr. Mark Hodges.

In lieu of flowers, Debby requested donations to be made to the ASPCA, honoring her love of animals.

A visitation for Debby will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, followed by a funeral mass at 1:00 PM, and interment thereafter at All Saints Mausoleum.
