She was born on March 14, 1939 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from East Jefferson High School in Metairie, Louisiana. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a parishioner of Visitation of Our Lady Parish in Marrero.
Deanna was survived by her husband of 64 years, Leroy J. Bergeron; daughters, Julie Gusevik (Rune) and Donna Smith (Perry); son, Richard Bergeron (Debra); grandchildren, Mindy Sorrels, Rune Gusevik (Tonya), Dani Smith, Dana Comeaux (William), and Randy Bergeron; great grandchildren, Todd Tidwell, Jared Smith, Christina Sabo, Olivia Mendoza, Andreas Gusevik, Espen Comeaux, Tobias Gusevik, and Evelynn Gusevik; as well as various nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Melodie Albarado Bruno; sisters, Eleanor Bruno and Patricia Butcher (Jerry); brother, Phillip Bruno (Betty); and grandchildren, Chad Gusevik and Rodney Bergeron.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass officiated by Fr. Colin V. Braud at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Blvd in Marrero, Louisiana, on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 1 PM. Visitation will begin at 12 PM. Burial will be held privately at a later date.
