David Tze-Ping Tsoi

David Tze-Ping Tsoi, former Vice-President of Operations of Brownsville Barge and Crane Company passed away on June 28, 2022 at the age of 63 in Houston, Texas. He was born on October 17, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Rancho Viejo, Texas.

David graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received both a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Auburn University. After graduating college, he served in the United States Air Force as a Navigator, Fighter and Weapons Systems Officer of the 4-F Phantom and attained the rank of Captain.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward M.Y. Tsoi and Ruby Hsia Tsoi.

David is survived by his sister Katherine T. Croft; his brother Edward T.M. Tsoi; his sister-in-law Louise S. Tsoi; his nieces Dawn Croft Breaux, Lisa M. Croft, Laura T. Doherty and Alison Tsoi; his great nephews Adam Breaux, Bryan Breaux, Matthew Doherty and Roman Currenti; and his great nieces Makayla Doherty and Alexa Glynn.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Gathering at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with a Graveside Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. in Metairie Cemetery.
