My heart breaks for the entire Lubrano family.  I can't imagine how difficult it is to loose  a son, brother, friend ,or relative so unexpectedly.  The Lubrano's are such a wonderful family and my thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.

Simply put, David was my first love.  I will never forget all of the great times that we had, growing up together.  He will always be fondly remembered for his quick wit, humor, ability to quote and sing anything from Tupac to the Grateful Dead, and most importantly, his love and loyalty to his family and friends.  All of my thoughts and prayers are with the Lubrano family today as they lay him to rest.  Thank you for being so wonderful to me.  I hope that David is at peace with his best buddy Ashley. You were one of one. I hate that we had not hung out in so long, I love you my old friend and I will always remember the incredible times we had.

Dave, you were one of a kind dude. No one could make the room laugh quite like you.

My heart truly aches with this very familiar and deeply agonizing pain. The keen sting of losing some that I so dearly loved- and who loved me too. It’s is hard to fathom having to live a life without David in it. It’s been devastatingly difficult to live in a world where my beloved brother, Ashley no longer exists. But the very chilling truth is that life goes on, no matter who lives or dies. As I journey through life I’m understanding that Ashley and now David are huge parts of my journey. My past, present, and future are more so impacted by them every single day. 
          David, thank you so much for taking such good care of me over all these years. Thank you for taking care of Ashley too. He meant the world to me just like you meant the world to me. I appreciate you always being there for me and always taking me seriously. You would always listen to me and talk to me like a man and would actually treat me like an adult and not like some kid who wet the bed that very same morning. When Ashley died, a piece of me died along with him. He left me to go at it alone, forever, and didn’t even tell me goodbye. Another piece of me will die along with you. I have come to realize that if you love someone so deeply and beyond this earth, then there is nothing that can ever seperate you from it. You and your family have meant the world to me and  my most sincerest condolences to the whole Lubrano family. I love you and thank you.

A lot could be said, but I'll tell you face to face one day. You were a real one.  It really sucks that you're gone, but you made a lot of memories while you were here. Take it easy, Brother Dave!

Oh Dave, It’s so hard to find the right words when we still had so much more life to live. So many plans, so much talk about the future. I am heartbroken. You were the sun to me. You were so gentle with me, easy going, always knew the right words to say. You were also so funny, never serious always joking and had me laughing, but when you were serious it was everything that I wanted to hear. 
Our relationship just worked so effortlessly, you made it easy and brought out my soft side. We were so different, yet so much alike. You wondered how you were even dating me when I had terrible taste in music and loved nothing but trash tv. 
 We talked for hours at a time (something you said you never would do and sacrifice sleep), it felt like we knew each other way longer than we actually did. You just randomly showed up into my life and it was the best surprise!  I am thankful that your friend Keegan convinced you to go out on our first official date even if you thought me hounding you about your love language was weird lol. 
Life is tough, I know, but I’m glad I was able to be here these last few months and that I was gentle with you. I think God knew that we both needed each other. What we had it was so rare, so special. I just want to think about the good times that we had because they were truly amazing. You were meant to come into my life and be part of my story. I pray that you’re finally in peace. I will miss you so much..

I can’t believe I’m writing this message. You and your beautiful family welcomed us not once but twice in a span of almost a year on our trip across the americas. You had one of the finest soul I never came across.  You had one of a kind sense of humour and it was so fun to be around you. All the family was looking forward on seeing you again as you always told me that you were going to visit us one day.  Our thoughts and prayers to the Lubrano family, especially Tara, Pam, senior and the kids. Miss you guys

It’s hard to find the words to say goodbye to someone who meant so much.  You weren't just Ben’s friend— you were my friend, too. You were like family.

On the surface, you were the fun-loving guy everyone adored, with your quick wit and infectious laughter. But you were so much more than that. You were one of the kindest, most genuine souls I’ve ever known. You had this incredible ability to truly listen, to make someone feel seen and understood. You were so generous with your heart- you loved and cared for everyone, almost too much. 

Some of my favorite moments with you weren’t just the laughs, though there were plenty of those. It was the deep conversations we shared—about faith, humanity, the universe, and what it all means.  

I’m going to miss you more than I can say. The world feels emptier without you here, but I’ll carry the memories and the laughter with me always. Rest easy, my friend. You were truly one of a kind.

You are truly  one of a kind Dave. Sitting here trying to put memories into words and there simply aren’t the right words to say.  You are loved and so very missed by many.  I am so blessed at you came into my life, and so saddened to have you gone.  God must have needed an amazing person, and he knew you were one of the greatest.
