Darcy Lynne Dimm

Darcy Lynne Dimm passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the age of 53, after a life long struggle with heart problems and Pulmonary Hypertension. She was born in Harvey on February 21, 1963 and resided in Kenner, LA. She is the beloved daughter of Lynne Plonsky Dimm and Henry Charles Dimm, Jr.; sister of the late Douglas Gerald Dimm. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lillian Geissler Plonsky and Gerald Joseph Plonsky, Amelia Hickey Dimm and Henry Charles Dimm, Sr. She will be missed by her aunt, Merle Dimm and her cousin, Debra Billot who she affectionately called her “big sister.” She loved when her nephew Dwayne Dimm and his wife Amanda visited. She also loved visits from her cousin Heather Colgin and her husband, Ryan. Darcy had a special loving bond with her mother who devoted her whole life to taking care of this wonderful child — they were constant companions. Darcy and her dad had a very special love for each other. They loved to travel together and watch sports on T.V. Darcy will also be missed by her cousins, friends and everyone who knew what a kind, gentle and loving person she was. Her affectionate smile will forever be remembered. Services will be private.
