Clarence "Bob" Robert Caster Jr.

Clarence R. Caster, Jr. “Bob” passed away at his home on Friday, July 31, 2015. He was 92 years old. Husband of the late Justine LeMieux Caster. Father of William Caster, Sr. (Cindy), Louis Caster, Suzanne Manning (Keith), and Elizabeth Engels (Keith). Grandfather of six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Brother of the late Winnifred McCrary and Donald Caster. Son of the late Clarence and Idabell Bertin Caster.

Bob served in the U. S. Air Force during World War II where he was a fighter pilot on the “Whistler” P-51 Mustang. He graduated from Tulane University with a degree in civil engineering. Bob retired from NOPSI after 30 years of service. He was a member of SERTOMA Club and The ROMEO’s.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Covenant House, 611 N. Rampart St., New Orleans, LA. 70112 or to A.R.C., www.arcgno.org.
