Charles J. Stewart, Jr.

New Orleans Academy and St. Paul's Lasallian High School Covington. He was an entrepreneur and Manager of Bonanza Restaurant, He enjoyed.on jazz fest, Roberts Bar, Mardi Gras, yard saling, watching sports, dining out, and his dogs, Speedy and Bubba.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Charles Stewart and Ambrosia "Dixie" Stewart; sister, Patricia Stewart Hewitt.

Charles is survived by his sister, Suzanne Stewart Kessenich (Rick); former wife and best friend forever, Leona Gard. The family would like to give special thanks to Kathryn Merlo and Hospice Care Staff.

Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 12:00PM followed by a service at 2:00PM.

Interment will be at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
