Born in New Orleans, LA on November 17, 1938, she was the only daughter of May Aloyse Sanderson and George Alfred Sanderson. A graduate of Mount Carmel High School, she married Roland Favre in July of 1958 and was blessed with her four “daisies”, who would become her life. She devoted everything to her four children as a homemaker and later worked as Administrative Assistant at Spilsbury, Hamilton, Legendre and Paciera CPA firm until she retired in 2007.
An active member of RCIA at St. Clement of Rome parish, Carol enjoyed traveling across the United States as well as on mission trips to serve the poor in Nicaragua and Mexico. Of special significance to her was her pilgrimage to Medjugorje, Bosnia in 2006 where she traveled to the sacred grounds that were home to the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary strengthening her faith as a Catholic and a Christian.
Carol was preceded in death by her brothers George A. Sanderson Jr. and Donald A. Sanderson. She is survived by her loving children Stephanie Favre Harber [Ronnie], Brian Paul Favre [Janie], Christopher David Favre [Kelly], and Jeffrey Michael Favre [Sandra]; her grandchildren Philip, Ashley, Henry, Christina, Eric, Christopher Jr., Matthew, Jacob, Adam, Rose Catherine, and Kristina; her great-grandchildren Jake, Gavin, Rayna, Chloe, Antonio, Aidan, Owen, Andi, Avery, Adriana; and her brother Robert C.
