Carlos M. Castillo, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. Carlos is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ibis S. Castillo; daughters, Ibis M. Castillo (Jason), Katherine Garcia (Juan) and Kristine Herrin (John); his sons, Carlos Antonio, Jorge Luis (Soraya), Carlos M. and Enrique Jorge Castillo (Rhonda); sisters, Leonor Morales, Nancy Gonzales and Hilda Gamayo; brothers, Enrique (Kiki), Jose and Jorge Castillo; his twelve grandchildren, Selene Castillo (Raul), Sofia Leandro (Antonio), Brandy Mayo (Michael), Rustin Lack, Heidi McCreary (Keegan), Amanda Castillo, Alexandra Castillo, Ivan Cordon, Ibis D. Garcia, Carli Polizzi, Patrick Alarcon and Jayden James; and his nine great-grandchildren, Maddux Mayo, Daniel Fundora, Isabella Allen, Emmi Mayo, Sofia K. Castillo, Julianna Fundora, Gabriella Leandro, Gabriella McCreary and Elijah Polizzi. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Enrique Castillo; mother, Maria Dolores Matilde Ramirez; and his three brothers, Enrique (Henry), Guillermo and Ernesto Castillo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
