Carl James Foltz

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 51 remarkable years, Joanna Lynn Foltz; his sons, Charles Aaron Foltz (Jen) and Peter Andrew Foltz; and his grandchildren, Ryan Dawe, Gabriel Foltz, Maximus Foltz and Lamont Foltz. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Melvin Foltz.

Carl proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a graduate of Easter Washington University. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum as a Purchasing/Logistics Manager. He was an avid fan of golf and enjoyed researching and reading about current events online. He always looked forward to watching Gonzaga University Basketball and the LSU Tigers.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral service to be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Ochsner Medical Center doctors and nurses, especially Dr. Andrew St. Martin, for all the care given to Carl.
