Bronwyn Tully Michelet

Bronwyn Michael Tully Michelet passed on to her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the age of 71. She was a caring wife, mother, “Gigi”, sister, daughter, godmother, aunt, and friend. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 8,1951 to Gerard Tully Sr. and Dorothy Ridge Tully.

Bronwyn is survived by her beloved husband, John Henry Michelet, whom she was married to for 47 years, and their 3 children, Mary Margaret Michelet, Lauren Elizabeth Michelet Knoblauch (Jordan), and Rebecca Anne Michelet. She was blessed with a sweet grandson, Evan Michael Michelet. She was preceded in death by her brother Gerard R. Tully, DDS (Susan) and survived by siblings Timothy Tully, Patricia Tully and Deacon Jeff Tully (Roxanne). She is also survived by her husband’s sister, Denise Michelet (Ken Rayes). She was also a loving aunt and great aunt to her many nieces and nephews to whom she adored each and every one of them.

Bronwyn graduated from Riverdale High School in Jefferson, Louisiana in 1969 and was in Delta Kappa Sorority. She then went on to work at NOPSI, where she met her husband, John, and wedded on December 13, 1974. They had 2 children together who gained their angel wings upon birth and whom she wanted to be laid to rest with. They later adopted three beautiful daughters in which she had the fortune to raise at home. Bronwyn was always seen singing and dancing whenever she could and she loved spending time with her family and friends the most. Her smile was so contagious, and she was such a bright light to those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be missed very dearly.

A private memorial and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
