Beverly L Burg

Beverly Lapeze Burg, beloved wife of the late Philip Julius Burg, Jr., passed through this life on August 19, 2014. She was 88 years old and a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was an employee for South Central Bell for two years before becoming a devoted housewife and loving mother. She was a volunteer of the Bellsouth Pioneers, WYES, and a recent member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanne Lapeze, Sr., sister of the late Joseph Bertrand Lapeze, Jr., sister-in-law of the late Gayle R. Lapeze. She is survived by her children, Philip Joseph Burg (Debbie), Janice Burg Espenan (Roger), and Cathy Burg Ferris (Larry), and grandchildren, Christopher, Philip Patrick (Sadie), Mary, Kimberly (Sam), Jeanne, Renee (step-granddaughter), and one great-grandchild. She will be truly missed and be in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA, 70124, on Monday, August 25, 2014. Interment at St. Louis Cemetery #3.
