Betty Rillieux Joe passed away peacefully in her home in Chalmette, Louisiana, on Thursday, January 19, 2023. She loved her Bible and she loved her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Harry Joe; her parents William, Jr. and Hilda Rillieux; her brothers William Rillieux III, Alesandro Rillieux, Roy Rillieux, and Dion Rillieux; and her sister Ruby Dannel. She is survived by countless, loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 9:00AM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard, New Orleans, Louisiana 70124, followed by a service at 11:00AM, and interment thereafter at Lake Lawn Park Cemeteries and Mausoleum.
