Husband of Catherine Ledesma. Brother of Yvonne Ledesma Sylver, Alfred Ledesma, and Rickie Ledesma. Also adored by his only grandchild August Michael Ledesma V, and his nieces Donna Sylver and Brittany Nunenmacher. He also leaves behind great nieces, Analaina and Alivia Martindale, Melissa Ledesma (sister-in-law), and Don Sylver (brother-in-law). Son of Carmen Ledesma and the late August Michael Ledesma Jr. He was the one person who could turn a day from bad to good just by his smile. August loved music, DJing, spending time with his children, and had a green thumb. Not only could he bring a dying plant back to life, but it would flourish and become more beautiful than it was before. He was also a great mechanic and car fanatic. Most importantly, he put everyone before himself. We will always remember his “no indeed not” answer to any question that warranted an obvious no! May he watch over us.
