Audrey B. O'Cain

Audrey Mary Boudreaux O’Cain died on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the grand age of 98. Born in Convent, Louisiana in 1926, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Leon O’Cain; her son, Keith O’Cain; her daughters, Debbie O’Cain, Cynthia O’Cain Ranck, and Pamela O’Cain; her parents, John Boudreaux and Elia Tregre Boudreaux; and her siblings, Daisy Boudreaux Schexnaydre, Percy Boudreaux, Johnny Boudreaux, Dan Boudreaux, Davis “Skee” Boudreaux, Larry Boudreaux, and Clay Boudreaux. She is survived by her remaining children, Barbara A. O’Cain, Keith J. O’Cain (Lil), Jerry O’Cain, Patrick J. O’Cain, and Peggy O’Cain; her grandchildren, Ian O’Cain (Jessica), Cody O’Cain, Megan Ranck, Garrick Ranck (Jade), Ethan Ranck, and Emily Ranck Lagomarsino (Pete); her great-grandson, Oliver O’Cain; her sister, Joy Boudreaux Holdridge; a great multitude of nieces and nephews; and an even greater multitude of devoted friends, especially Lura Dixon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, Louisiana, on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.; interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, Louisiana.
