Audrey S. Lynch, age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 16, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Laura L. Haindle (George); her three grandchildren, Amanda B. Fonseca (Paul), Erin A. Haindle and Matthew J. Haindle; her great-grandchild, Ethan Fonseca; and her sister, Elaine Jacob. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Joseph A. Lynch; her daughter, Charlotte L. Bourg; and her brother, James A. Sofford, Jr. Audrey was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 307 and 131 for many years. She was also Past Chapeau of Jefferson Salon 535 and a past member of the Luling Holy Family Church Busy Bees. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 12:00 NOON. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
