Anthony (AJ) Joseph Palermo, Jr.

Anthony (AJ) Joseph Palermo, Jr. a native and resident of New Orleans passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife Sherry Crider, his daughter Tiffany Palermo, his son Trey Palermo, his sister Marlene and his grandchildren Cecelia, Victoria, Michael and Vincent. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Lillian Moore Palermo and Anthony Joseph Palermo, Sr. AJ was born October 25, 1941. He served in Air National Guard. He was a self-made successful business man that was well respected. He was a member of the Canteen Corporation, Legatus and Serra Club and was active in his Catholic Community. He was awarded the order of St. Louis Medal. He was graduate of De La Salle High School and attended Loyola and Tulane University. AJ was loved by all who knew him for his kind heart and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6367 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, La. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, charity of choice preferred.
