Annuncietta “Honey Boo” Eckert Piazza passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Paul Piazza, Jr. Loving mother of Maria P. St. John (William) and the late Paula P. LaCava. Grandmother of Renee Merimen (Dan), Paul Piazza White (Lauren), Angela Quigley (Chad), Michael LaCava, and Trey St. John (Megan). Sister of Gloria Krennerich and the late John Hyver, Huey Hyver, Agnes Serpas, Mary Millett, Emma Serpas, and Anna Fanning. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Annuncietta Donnelly Eckert.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 3:00PM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 2:00PM.
