

Ann Beck Morreale passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the age of 81. She was a native and resident of New Orleans. Ann was a proud homemaker; however, she previously was the Executive Assistant to the highly successful Major League Baseball manager, Billy Martin. She was also member of Salem United Church of Christ. Ann and her husband, Jr., were the proud owners of the famous uptown Frankie & Johnny’s Restaurant & Bar. Her hobbies and interest were sports; she loved her sports teams, especially Alabama Football “Roll Tide!”. However, her greatest interest was her family! Her family was her world. Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Frank Morreale, Jr.; her father, George Beck; mother, Helen Schelter Beck Joffrion; and stepfather, Jules Joffrion. She is survived by her daughters, Dionne Morreale Parker (Johnny) and Tina Morreale Raymond (Warren); son, John Frank Morreale, III (Karla); grandchildren, Lyndsey P. Berngard (Brian), Ashley Morreale, Kelsey Owens, Kristen P. LeBlanc (Cole), Jonathan Parker (Kaitlin) and John F. Morreale, IV; great-grandchildren, Ty Theriot, Harper Berngard, Caroline Berngard, Parker Kate LeBlanc and Karson LeBlanc. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 12:00pm officiated by Rev. Jack Boudreaux. A visitation will be from 9:00 am until the service begins at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
