Ann Ray Vitter Johns

Ann Ray Vitter Johns passed away alongside her husband, Keith Marigny Johns, on February 28th, 2023 at the age of 73. She was born on March 7th, 1949 in New Orleans and worked as a postal worker before retiring. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Raymond Vitter and Henrietta Vitter; and her brother, Tyrus Vitter. She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Mathies (Daniel), Shannon Beninato (Michael); her sons, David Clark and Dennis Clark (Heather); her sisters, Tyrene Power (Bill) and Carol Jackson (Andy); her grandchildren, Emily Jones, Garrett Jones (Taylor), Jessica Meyers (Royce), Hailey Clark (Kylie Francis), David Clark, Jr., Maddison Waggoner, Kelsey Rainey (Tanner), Sydney Hudson, Ally Beninato, Collin Beninato, Tyler Delaughter, Kyle Clark (Alyssa), Jenna Clark, and Elijah Clark; her great-grandchildren, Talon Meyers, Riot Meyers, Ryker Rainey, Rory Rainey, and Ava Clark, and her dog, Gracie.

A visitation for both husband and wife will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. A 12:00 noon mass will immediately follow visitation. Interment is to take place at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery No. 3.
