Amy’s love for singing and dancing filled her life with smiles, cheers, and joy. She danced and sang to spread positive energy to those who watched and was rewarded with the happiness it brought to people during her performances. Her vibrant spirit was inviting, same as her personality; it became irresistible to join in on her zest for seizing life at its best moments. Her acts of selflessness and kindness created long-lasting friendships with people from diverse backgrounds. She would always be thoughtful of others and had the ability to empathize with everyone she met. Amy provided help without hesitancy and delighted friends, neighbors, and even strangers with food. But what really powered Amy through her life’s journey was her family. There was nothing more compelling to push her forward through life’s obstacles than the love she had for her children and husband. Her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and future generations to come.
She will be deeply missed by her spouse Hsu-Huei Huang; daughter I-wen Huang (Ki Kang); son Wei-Ting Huang (Tiffany); and grandchildren Benjamin, Kaelani, and Solomon Kang, and Isabella, Abigail, and Ethan Huang.
A visitation for Amy will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
