Albert C. Cook III passed away on August 17, 2017 at the age of 71 after his battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Trudy Baudin Cook. Father of Albert C. Cook IV and Allen Cook. Grandfather of Bethany Lee Widas, Victoria Ann Cook, and Andrew Charles Cook. Great grandfather of Peyton Widas. Brother of Carol Cook, Paul Cook, and Timothy Cook and the late Wayne Cook. Son of the late Fiorita Cook and Albert C. Cook, Jr. Son-in-law of Dolores Baudin and the late Bernard Baudin. Brother-in-law of Bernard Baudin, Judy Forsythe Elton, and Don Baudin. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Albert served in the United States Army National Guard Reserve. He worked as an Industrial Safety Coordinator for most of his life. He served his community as a lifetime member with the Avondale Volunteer Fire Company. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Visitation begins at 11:00 AM.
