Anthony Joseph Palmisano, affectionately known as “AJ” or “Pops”, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the age of 76.
AJ was born in New Orleans, but was a native of Metairie, LA. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Wood Palmisano; sons Anthony J. Palmisano, Jr. (Terese) and Brian Wood Palmisano (Jill); grandchildren Kourtnie A. Palmisano, Meghan E. Palmisano, Mallori A. Palmisano, Reagan E. Palmisano and Brandi A. Cortez (Stephen); great-grandchildren Kyler Pizani, William, Angellica, and Cara Cortez. He is preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Antoinette Palmisano; brother, Joseph A. Palmisano. AJ retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
A private family service was held.
