Groton-William A. Jackson Sr., 91, of Hartford Ct. died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Groton Regency.
Mr. Jackson was born on March 11, 1923 in Putnam, CT the son of Berry and Maud Congdon Jackson. He honorably served in the US Army during WWII. He was employed as an electrician at Pfizer for many years until his retirement.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his sons, John Jackson and Glenn Jackson. He is predeceased by his son William Jackson Jr. and Barbara Jackson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00am in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London, CT 06320. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held one hour prior from 10:00 until 11:00am in the funeral Home.
