Victoria Anne Bruno

Victoria Anne Bruno, 38, of New London, CT, passed away on January 7, 2022. Born in Summit, New Jersey to Ellen and Joseph Bruno, Victoria grew up in Springfield, New Jersey. She graduated from Jonathan Dayton Regional High School in 2001. Victoria continued her education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, earning an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Teacher Education & Curriculum Studies in 2006. She worked as an educator at schools in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Victoria enjoyed live music, dancing, playing Scrabble, working out, the beach and eating cheese, especially brie. She was a true friend to everyone she met, especially to those in need to whom she offered comfort and encouragement. She is loved by many and her gentle spirit and sparkling personality will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Victoria is survived by her father, Joseph Bruno; her sister, Melissa McKinnon and her husband David, niece, Elizabeth, and nephew, Benjamin. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Ellen.
