She was born on June 16, 1938, in New London, the daughter of Rose Campagna Fulton of Waterford and the late Eugene Fulton.
Toni graduated from New London High School in 1956. She was employed as a secretary at United Nuclear Corp. for 17 years and retired in June 2000 from Gates Correctional Facility in Niantic. She was a member of the St. Matthias Church Women's Club. She enjoyed travelling, shopping, gardening, and family gatherings.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Matthew Hopkins; her son Thomas DiCarlo and his wife Deborah of Voluntown; her daughters Donna Bonanno of Canterbury and Tina Gifford of Groton; her sister Jean Camillucci of N. Franklin; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday July 9th at 10am in St. Matthias Church, 317 Chesterfield Rd., East Lyme. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New London.
