Richard Alexander Roman, of Quaker Hill, passed away on May 20, 2023. Husband of Linda N. Roman.
He was born on June 29, 1946, in New Haven, the son of Michael and Ann Roman.
Richard was a graduate of Southern State University in New Haven. He was a Spanish teacher at Waterford High School. Following his retirement, he was a slot supervisor at Foxwoods Casino. He and his wife Linda enjoyed travelling. He was also a former member of the Teacher's Bowling League.
In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his twin brother George Roman.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 30th from 4-6pm at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 11am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, New London. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the New London Community Meal Center.
