Nancy Ann Visser

Nancy was born June 25, 1944 in Harrisburg, PA to Walter Grabel and Bertha Buchsbaum.

Nacy was a long time and active meber of the New London Moose club. Na cy worked at Howland Department Store in Waterford for 34 years and was also employed by OIC of New London County for 10 years before she retired.

Nancy loved to garden, eat out with her husband Gerard, and cooking. She enjoyed trying new recipes and loved sharing her recipes wth friends and family.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 40 years Gerard Visser, her parents Walter and Bertha Grabel; brother Walter Grabel Jr.; sisters Linda Domahowksi and Bonnie Bradford; nieces Kathryn Grabel, Kelly Chance, Karen Domahowski, Hannah Bayle; nephew James Bradford; and great-nephew Corey Chance.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 7:00pm in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London. A visiting hour will be held one hour prior to the service from 6:00 until 7:00pm in the funeral home on Wednesday.
