Kimberly Rosetta Hope was born on December 29, 1963, the daughter of the late James and Myrtle Goodwin.
Kimberly dedicated over 30 years of her life to helping special needs children through 25 years in Rhode Island and 8 years in the Ledyard School System as a paraeducator. Along with that, she operated several christian sober houses where she aided in the recovery of dozens of substance abusers as a drug and alcohol counselor. When not in the classroom she could be found lending a helping hand to any who needed it or being the loudest cheerleader at Ledyard sports venues.
She is survived by her 3 children: Mackenzie, Rylee, and Riccio Hope; and her brothers Tony and Vincent Goodwin.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 18th from 11am-1pm at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London.
