Been researching my Family Tree for the last two years and was anxious to find the three sons I knew Catherine and Martin Howley had.  The first I have found is John and so sad to see he died ten years ago.   We were always close to his extended family.  His Mom was  a first cousin of my Mom and they always corresponded with each other and when my Mom died I continued to write to Katherine for the duration of her remaining years.   May my cousin John rest in eternal peace.

Researching for my Family Tree I have recently found the three sons of Catherine Doonan and Martin Howley of Co Mayo.  Catherine was a first cousin of my late Mom and I met her a few times when she was in Ireland.  I am saddened to learn that John has died and I send you all my sincere sympathy.   I knew his Granny and his Uncle  John very well.

John and I became friends in first grade. He was a kind loving sensitive person who loved to have fun and laugh but who also felt the pain of  others. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by his Germantown (Colony) friends.
