Doreen Elaine Dvorak

Dvorak, Doreen E., died following a brief illness on August 29, 2022 at Westerly Hospital. She was born on May 28, 1935 in Norwich, CT, the daughter of John W. Krohn and Bernadette Doris (Gardner) Krohn.

After graduating from high school, Doreen married Charles F. Dvorak and they were happily married for 62 years. Doreen remained active with 4-H clubs for many years and together they had four children. Doreen is survived by; David and his wife Jayne, Richard and his wife Alison, Kathryn and her husband Gil and Daniel and his wife Denise. They were also blessed with many grandchildren and step-grandchildren; Anna Dvorak, Christopher Dvorak, Holly Dvorak, Crystal (Guilbert) and her husband John Robert Wilson, Jacob Guilbert, Tia Guilbert, Ryan Brennan, Stephanie Brennan, Joshua Dvorak and his wife Sophie-Leigh, Rachel Dvorak, and Nathaniel Dvorak.

A Mass will be held on Thursday, September 15th, at 10:00 am, at Saint Pius Church, 44 Elm Street, Westerly, RI, followed by a reception. A private funeral, where she will be interred with her beloved husband, will be attended by family members only at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
