Christopher Robert Coons

Christopher Robert Coons, 30, of New London, CT passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2017. Christopher is survived by his wife Keyla Badillo, and three children Aliza, 10, Leynece, 9, and Mieyla, 7. Christopher is also survived by his parents Renee & Darrell McClellan, and Steve & Tracy Rolfe; siblings Danny Coons, Matt Coons, Troy Coons, Shannon Coons, Marissa Rolfe, Steven Rolfe, Damion Rolfe and Veronica Rolfe; and Grandparents Edith Badillo, Jose Ledesma, Frances Cafro, James and Priscilla Rolfe; and many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Chris was predeceased by his brother Todd Coons.

His heartbroken wife and family would like those reading this who struggle with addiction, or know someone who does, to please seek help now. This disease does not discriminate, and is a lifetime struggle for those who suffer. We never expected this to happen to our family and wouldn’t wish this senseless tragedy on any one.

A celebration of our beloved Christopher’s life, who we all loved unconditionally, will be held on Saturday, June 24th from 12:00-4:00 PM at Engaging Heaven Church, 66 Union Street, New London.
