Anne V. Sicard

She was born on February 4, 1952, in New London, the daughter of Virginia Palm Facas and the late Anthony Facas.

She married Chester Sicard on September 29, 1973.

Mrs. Sicard earned a Masters at UConn and became a speech pathologist, teaching in Ledyard Schools. She was passionate about teaching children and travelling. She loved beaches, the arts, and gardening.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her son Adam Sicard of Raleigh, NC; daughters Stefanie Howell of Smithfield, RI and Kathryn Sicard of Washington, DC; her brothers Hendrick and Abdo Facas, both of Waterford; and four grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday May 29th from 5-8pm at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London. A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 30th at 11am in St. Ann Melkite Church, 41 Cross Rd., Waterford. A calling hour will be held on Thursday in church for one hour prior to the service.
